University of St. Mary, founded in 1923 by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, is a small Catholic liberal arts institution with less than 1,000 students. Now with 3 campuses, its main campus remains in Leavenworth, Kansas, with the two other campuses located at Overland Park and Kansas City.
