AIP offers diploma, certificate, Associate, and Bachelor degree programs in the field of Culinary Arts (8 programs), Design (11 programs), Media Arts (17 programs, and Fashion (2 programs). All students at AIP, regardless of majors or electives, are required to take core curriculum courses that are administered by the General Education Department to hone the student’s critical thinking skills, and provide a framework for the students allowing them to operate with a broader canvas of knowledge. Students are also required to take Foundation Courses, which are basic or introductory courses on the different areas of art, design, business, and audio and digital technology, regardless of the major that will be pursued. This is to help students not only learn and appreciate the basics of each field, but also explore their interest early on to ensure that they are indeed on the right track with their career choices.
With a student body inclined in the creative and applied arts, it is perhaps not surprising that AIP does not have a strong athletics program. In fact there are no notable athletic teams to speak of or sports club to join.
