Argosy University, formed in 2001 after a merger between the American Schools of Professional Psychology, the University of Sarasota, and the Medical Institute of Minnesota, is a multi-campus for-profit university with 19 campuses scattered all over the United States. It also has an online division that operates under the direct supervision of its Phoenix campus.

Argosy University offers a wide range of academic programs at various levels, including certifications, associates, bachelors, masters, specialist, and doctoral degrees, postdoctoral specialization, and postgraduate concentrations. However, it is important to remember that the actual programs available in each location vary. The programs offered at Argosy University are administered by its 5 colleges, namely: College of Business, College of Education, College of Health Sciences, College of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences, and College of Undergraduate Studies.

The College of Business offers programs under three major areas of study – Business Administration, Management, and Organizational Leadership. College of Psychology & Behavioral Sciences major areas of study are Psychology, Counselling, and Marriage & Family Therapy. The college of Health Sciences focuses on providing programs that will prepare students for specific health science careers like Dental Hygiene, Histotechnology, Medical Assisting, Radiation Therapy, and Veterinary Technology. The College of Undergraduate Studies, on the other hand has a broader scope, encompassing four major programs of study: Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Psychology, and Criminal Justice. The College of Education also has a good number of programs for P-12 educators.

Academic programs available at Argosy University as online programs are undergraduate degree programs in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Liberal Arts, and Psychology. There are also 12 Master’s degree programs available online, as well as 6 Doctoral degree programs. Please not that if you plan on pursuing an education degree via Argosy University, all of their online education programs, with the exception of the MAED in Educational Administration (in a limited number of states), DO NOT lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States, regardless of the State in which the student resides.

Tuition at Argosy University Online is $540 per credit hour for all undergraduate programs. For Master’s degree programs, the tuition is $595 per credit hour for the MAEd and Masters of Public Health program, and $694 per credit hour for all other Master’s programs. Tuition rates for Doctoral degree programs in the different areas of study are $860 per credit hour for Business, $895 per credit hour for Psychology, and $827 for Education. Tuition for on-campus students vary depending on the campus location, academic program, and number of credits (full-time versus part-time).

Financial Aid is available at Argosy in the form of Federal grants and loans, Federal Work-Study programs, alternative/private loans, scholarships, and military benefits (for active-duty members, veterans, and spouses).
