American Sentinel University

The American Sentinel University, founded in February 2006, is a private, for-profit online university with offices located in Denver, Colorado and Birmingham, Alabama. It was created after three nationally accredited institutions specializing in two very different fields (Computer/Information Technology and Management) merged, and resulted in a university whose educational expertise naturally became programs under those two fields of study. Currently, the university has expanded its offerings to include other fields of studies, most notably in the field of healthcare. This has led to an increased enrollment so that the American Sentinel University now has more than 2000 students enrolled, which is more than the 1600 plus students that have graduated since it opened 6 years ago.
